Busta Rhymes Arrested And Charged With Assault

Busta Rhymes was arrested on Saturday August 19th, proceeding the Heineken AmsterJam Festival, where he was charged with assault.

According to reports, Busta is being being investigated over events that took place a a week ago.

Suspicions indicate that following a man spitting at his car, Busta reacted in a threatening manner and there was also a machete found in his vehicle.

Busta was taking into police headquarters to be interrogated not only over the assult but also over a fatal shooting of his bodyguard Israel Ramirez, although Busta refused to comment.

"Nobody has come forward," Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly informed the NY Post. "No one has volunteered any information, even though there were possibly 50 people at the scene of this homicide."

Ramirez, 29, was gunned down whilst shooting the video for the song "Touch It (Remix)", and is thought to have involved rapper Tony Yayo, who also has refused to co-operate with police investigations.

Busta Rhymes is expected to be back in court October 24.
