Dmx May Be Forced To Auction Off His Own Townhouse
Posted on June 25, 2008
DMX once again dominates the news of the hip hop world, and the troubles and tribulations keep mounting for him. The latest being the realistic possibility that he may be forced to relinquish his NYC townhouse, after violating a contract with a particular line of dog clothes. TMZ has reported that after DMX refused to participate in a promotional ad campaign back in 2004, a judge instructed him to pay. He has reportedly been unable to generate the $281,000 sum towards the company to balance the deal, and therefore it looks like he will have to auction off his Fifth Avenue townhouse to produce the cash. This is the latest in a whole host of trouble which the rapper has found himself in over recent times, as only yesterday we reported of a driving violation, and also another string of driving infractions last year, including driving with a suspended licence and speeding. In October, DMX was pulled over by cops and resulted in his license being revoked and registration suspended due to parking violations.
