Dr Dres Son Pronounced Dead At His California Home

Dr Dre's son, Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his Woodland Hills home in California at the age of just twenty. According to LA Weekly, Young returned home from a night out at approximately 5:30am. His mother attended her son at 10am that same morning to find him unresponsive. Following dialling 911, emergency vehicles arrived but were unable to revive the twenty year old, who was then pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of his death remains unknown, though police have played down any hints of suspicious circumstances. A statement was revealed on Tuesday morning from one of Dr Dre's spokespersons.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time."

Dre's MySpace page has been flooded with support and messages offering their condolences and prayers. One individual commented "Our prayers are with you and your family". As are ours.
