To remember and show appreciation for what should have been Eazy-E's (Eric Wright) 41st birthday, Capitol/Priority Records are preparing to release a CD/DVD package set to be called "Eazy-E- Eternal E: Gangsta Memorial Edition". The package will hold 16 songs by the artist, as well as 7 music videos and an exclusive listen to the track by eazy's own son, Lil E.
10 years on from the death of Eazy, Lil E commented on his father's success and prolific career.
?He started the whole gangster rap era, There wouldn?t be nothing?not Tupac, not Biggie, not 50 Cent, not Dr. Dre, not Eminem? if it wasn?t for my father. He started it. He?s the Godfather of gangster rap.?

Born on September 7th, 1964, Eazy-E was a founding member of arguably Hip Hop?s most celebrated groups, NWA. He launched his own label, Ruthless Records in the 80's and contributed greatly to raise awareness for NWA through his passion and drive for further success.
