Foxy Brown Ordered To Community Service After Plea

On Thursday 24th, Foxy Brown accepted a plea deal which will see her evade jail time, for an assault charge back in March 2007. The plea deal was made in Florida, whereby if the plea was not satisfied; the Associated Press have indicated that Brown could have faced a two year stint inside. Instead, she will serve 6 months probation, on top of 15 hours worth of community service. Also, involved in the settlement, Brown has been instructed to write two apology letters to the store owner and the employee involved.
Brown has already attended anger management classes which have been completed. The incident stems from an arrest back in May 07' where the rapper was charged with battery and resisting arrest - following an altercation with an employee of a beauty store in Miami. The alleged attack took place after she employee was asked to leave since the store was soon to close. She apparently threw hair glue at the employee, and spat on him, and also struggled with an officer who arrived on the scene shortly afterwards. Associated Press reports indicate that the beauty store have a civil suit pending against Foxy Brown.
