Master P And Walmart Sued For Copyright

Master P and Wal-Mart have been sued by Pepe Jeans London LL for trademark infringement according to WWD Business. Pepe Jeans have accused Master P of infringing its trademark, most notably the infringement of the letter 'P' in the logo for the rappers P. Miller Clothing. Pepe Jeans are filing a suit against the trademark issues, believing that the P. Miller logo is based on their own logo, which is a stylised 'P', encompassed in a circle. They are also citing against the logo used on P. Miller jeans hangtags. Happy Nation Inc, manufacturer for the clothing range has also been named in the suit.
Pepe Jeans are filing a suit against the use of the logo, profits and damages deriving from the infringement, legal fees and other unspecified damages. Master P and his representatives have yet to release a statement regarding this.
