Soulja Boy Will Vote For Barack Obama

Soulja Boy recently turned 18, and with eligibility to vote in political elections, he told MTV that he already knows who his first vote is to be in favour of. It may come as no surprise that the candidate he is choosing is Barack Obama.

"I'm pretty much going for Obama," he said week. "[He's] got my vote."

Soulja Boy however made it clear that he is not voting for him to join the bandwagon, or because of his race, but because of his proposed political agenda, more specifically, the war in Iraq.

"I'm starting to sweat it," he said. "The war is crazy right now. My auntie's over there, so we'd love to see them come back real soon."

Amidst all the political talk, he also uncovered details on a new mix-tape which he will put together as a joint venture with Bow Wow, who both feel that they get hated on the most in the game.

"[Bow Wow] was like, 'I'm the most hated on,' so he wanted to do a mix-tape [with me] -- kind of like 'the two most hated on' or something like that. And I was like, 'Man, that'd be crazy'," explained Soulja Boy.

Bow Wow remarked on the mix-tape in an earlier interview with MTV.

"Everybody is always picking on us anyway," said Bow Wow. "We might just go 'head and kill the game and sh** on all these n****s. Do a mix tape album together, put it out and go hard!"

No date has been announced for when the mix-tape will land.
