Suge Knight Arrested For Alleged Battery

Suge Knight was arrested on Wednesday morning after an alleged beating of a woman, whom news channels are calling his girlfriend. The Associated Press have described how police responded to a report of a car colliding with the curb at the Las Vegas Strip, and when investigating found Suge Knight with a knife in his hand, overlooking his long-term girlfriend. Police stated that the woman attempted to run free, but was quickly grabbed by Knight.

"This was apparently Marion Knight's girlfriend that was riding with him in his car at the time. She started punching him while in the car (he was the driver and she was the passenger). In an effort to escape she grabbed the steering wheel and steered it to the curb. That's when she got out of the car and tried to run and he caught up to her," Las Vegas Lt. Chris Carroll told KLAS-TV.

Knight was arrested and charged with a deadly weapon, battery and domestic violence. Furthermore police allegedly found Ecstasy and Hydrocodone in his possession, to add to his series of charges.

Knight is currently being detained in a Las Vegas prison.
